Ready Set Reno – Our 15 Minutes of Fame

Last month we were fortunate enough to have one of our renovations featured on Ready Set Reno on 9Life. The show was hosted by ex block contestants Michael and Carlene Duffy in which they traveled around Australia featuring 10 renovation projects. Our Holland Park renovation was one of the first episodes to be filmed.

We started the project in June 2016 revamping the tired old 1930’s Ashgrovian style Queenslander into something pretty special! We renovated the existing interior of the property and shuffled the floor plan around to add in an ensuite to the master bedroom.  We also added a beautiful outdoor entertaining area for our clients to enjoy the beautiful Queensland weather.

BEFORE

We love renovating!  But when we found out that Michael and Carlene were coming to visit, we knew this project was going to be extra special. We had so much fun filming the episode, with lots of laughs.. Let’s just say Chris is really good builder and won’t be delving into an acting career any time soon!  We also would not have been able to do it with out the help of our awesome suppliers and sponsors: Wilson Timbers, Edge Tile and Stone and Early Settler Furniture.
